Lifestyle portraits are all about authenticity. Life is ever evolving and families are constantly in motion and changing. From engagement and maternity when the family is beginning to the beautiful wrinkles that come later in life, there are so many stories to tell.

You need photographs that remind you what this particular season of your life felt like.

These sessions capture genuine emotions and people and places that are special to you. Imagine a playful picnic, a mountain adventure, or even a lazy Sunday morning at home. I’ll give you enough direction that nobody is wondering what they’re supposed to do, while leaving plenty of room for hugs, teasing, quiet moments and personalities that make your people yours.

Family sessions mean surprise engagements, anniversary sessions, can be outdoors in Colorado, at home, or wherever your story makes the most sense.

Where are you based?

I am happy to say that I live in Lakewood, Colorado, giving me easy access to the mountains as well as downtown Denver.
Do you travel? Is there a fee?

I couldn’t live without traveling! I love finding places that are new to me! There is an added travel fee for locations more than 15 miles from Lakewood, Colorado. But you’d be surprised how far that gets us!
How many photos will I receive?

The final gallery size varies depending on the session. But any images that are important to tell your story will be included.
How will I receive my jpg images?

I deliver a sneak peek via email a few days after the session. The final gallery of jpg images will be delivered through a link to your beautiful online gallery. It’s perfect for sharing with family!
How long does it take to receive all the jpg images?

This depends on the session you choose. I always deliver within a 4-week period.
Do you pose us?

I tend to work half with posed images and half with capturing your movement and naturalness. I lead you through ideas and love to stand back and watch your beautiful story through my lens.
How can we prep our family?

Be sure to fill everyone in on the importance of your session as well as about how long it’s going to take. For kids, quick snacks like apple slices, dried fruit, or dry cereal help keep energy levels up. For adults, it’s kind of the same! :0)
Do you Photoshop us?

You are beautiful no matter what stage of life!! But it’s Murphy’s Law that blemishes come up right around a photo session. So things like that (which aren’t normally there) will be removed. I really want you to be happy with the images and offer individual image edits for an extra fee (varies based on complexity).
What if we need to reschedule?

I get it! Weather, illness, all sorts of things come up — especially with children! Your deposit is nonrefundable, but if the unexpected arises on the day of the session, we’ll work together to find a solution for us both!
